RV repair update - Prayer

PLEASE PRAY

In the days since we had the RV breakdown outside Ft. Stockton we have had the RV in for repairs here in Houston. We have just heard from the repair technician and wanted to pass on the information for you to be praying with us about the situation.

Initially, we thought that the issue was the radiator and the belts. As they were working on these problems they began to suspect that there was an issue with the engine itself (engine miss). However, this RV has a Caterpillar engine and it requires a special diagnostic tool to determine what the real issue is in the engine (that this RV repair place does not have). It may be that when the engine overheated it melted some of the gaskets or something like that. Anyhow, we will hear today or tomorrow where we need to take the RV for this diagnostic test for the engine. We are praying that the test will reveal that there is no problem with the engine.

If, in fact, there is a major engine problem we would need to re-evaluate our travel plans and furlough meetings in some states b/c we could not cover the cost of major RV repairs (we did have budgeted some funds for repairs but have almost spent that on tires and other small repairs). We would really covet your prayers that these repairs would not be too costly and that we would be able to have the RV fixed by July 7th so that we can head on to Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado, and back to California.

We are not worried b/c we know that God is sovereign over all these details and has had our home assignment schedule planned out from the beginning of time. We just wanted to pass on this information b/c so many of you have asked us how you can be praying for us. We are so appreciative for the deep love and faithful prayers that you have poured out on us during our years in Albania and while we have been here these past 2 weeks. We are so blessed by you all - it humbles us greatly.
